GPEA's in-house engineering is backed by a group of "cooperating" professionals providing expert support in a wide range of design, manufacturing, and quality control.

General Power Engineering Associates can produce custom ordered air-to-water or oil-to-water heat exchangers using a variety of materials--all built to the exact specifications and requirements of your generator.  Little to no modification of existing equipment is required. Quite often the size of the cooler can be reduced while maintaining the same efficiency using GPEA's cooler design methods.

GPEA can manufacture coolers with the following options:
  • Carbon Steel or Stainless Steel construction.
  • Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel, or Brass Tubesheets.
  • All copper, 90/10 Cu/Ni, or Stainless Steel tubes.
  • Edgewound, Solder Dipped, or Extruded fin tubing.
  • Galvanized or Painted cooler frames.
