Recent Orders:
Engineering Studies:

  • Up-rate Study for the Corps of Engineer’s 29.47 MVaa Generator/Motor. Found to be feasible to up-rate to 36.37 MVa.
  • Turbine Shaft Coupling to Switch Yard Up-rate study for the Consumer Power Companys’ 325 MVa Unit as a Sub-Contract to Devine-Tarbel & Associates (DTA). Found to be feasible to up-rate to 455 MVa.
  • Partial Up-rate Study for First Light’s 235 MVa Generator/Motor as a Sub-Contract to Essex Partnership. Found to be feasible to up-rate to 333 MVa.
  • Partial Up-rate Study for Oglethorpe Power’s 314 MVa Generator/motor as a Sub-Contract to American Hydro. Found to be feasible to up-rate to 406 MVa.
  • Performed a risk analysis on the 389 MVa Dominion Resources Generator/ Motor.
Testing:

  • Loss, Excitation, and Heat Runs on Oglethorpe Power Companys’ 314 MVa Generator/Motor as a Sub-Contract to American Hydro
  • Loss, Excitation, and Heat Runs on Consumer Power Companys’ 324 MVa Generator/Motor as a Sub-Contract to DTA
  • Heat Runs on Consumer Power Companys’ 648 MVa Transformers and Bus Duct as a Sub-Contract to DTA
Manufacturing:

  • 4 Thrust Bearing Heating Systems as a Sub-Contract to DTA
  • 3 Oil Omission Systems as a Sub-Contract to DTA/ Duke Energy
  • 72 Refurbished Surface Air Coolers for the Corps of Engineers
  • 2 Sets of Refurbished Surface Oil Coolers for the Corps of Engineers
  • 2 New Sets of Surface Oil Coolers for the Corps of Engineers
  • 2 New Surface Oil Coolers for Voith-Siemens
  • 16 New  Surface Air Coolers complete with Supports for Voith-Siemens
Site Refurbishment:

  • Dismantled three 3.5 MVa generators and Turbines for Pennsylvania Coil/ City of Danville. Reinstalled three 4.25 MVa refurbished Generators and Turbines.
  • Refurbished the voltage gradient system on 50% of the Stator Coils at the 52.6 MVa Kingsley Plant for Central Nebraska Public Power Irrigation District.
